Projects of Note
- Pentagon, Washington, D.C.: Participated with ServiceMaster Recovery Management, in the clean up after terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. Provided supervisory and management support in the coordination of 300 ServiceMaster employees and business owners. Provided supplies and equipment necessary to support project. Served as assistant to superintendent from 2nd week on site until project completion. Handled all scheduling, assisted in crew assignment, quality control, customer complaints and performed other duties as requested on a daily basis.
- Marjol Battery Site, Throop, PA: Lead team coordinator for group of 5 franchises who grouped together to service the interior lead abatement needs for approximately 100 homes.
- Vernon High School, Vernon Township, NJ: Cleaned and dried approximately 100,000 square feet of school affected by smoke and water. Restoration included cleaning of kitchen, cafeteria, classrooms, halls, un-vent heaters and duct work.
- Cove Haven Resort, Lake Wallenpapack, PA: Cleaned, deodorized, sealed and painted approximately 30 rooms plus attic space. Ground & sealed charred wood and beams in approximately 10 rooms.
- Tunkhannock School District, Mehoopany Elementary School: Cleaned and dried approximately 53,000 square feet of building. Packed out, cleaned, deodorized same. Disassembled, cleaned, re-assembled approximately 80 computer systems (CPU's, printers, monitors).
- Girton, Oaks, & Burger: Cleaned and deodorized approximately 34,000 square feet of manufacturing/warehouse space and office space. Disassembled, cleaned, reassembled approximately 20 computer station network systems. System was kept running and business was open during restoration.
- Ramada Plaza Hotel, Clarks Summit, PA: Fire/Water Restoration. Cleaned and dried approximately 52,000 square feet of hotel. Cleaned 5 floors, including 110 guest rooms. Removed/Cleaned/Re-hung all drapes. Removed/disassembled/cleaned all heat/ac units. Cleaned duct work. Facility remained operational throughout the restoration project.
- Peoples National Bank, Hallstead, PA: CAT water loss involving 4 locations. Removed mold from floors and crawl spaces, demolished, dried, cleaned walls/floors/duct work, etc. Two of the four locations were able to remain in service and the two were prepped for reconstruction in 10 days.
ServiceMaster has a seasoned management team responsible for a staff ranging from 10 to 20 individuals. Our primary service area includes Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wyoming, Pike, Wayne, Monroe, and Susquehanna Counties.
We are available and prepared to travel up to 3 hours in any direction for any type of large commercial or industrial loss.
The small percentage of work that requires subcontractors is performed by carefully selected companies, some of which we have worked with for over 10 years.
As members of the ServiceMaster QRV program and large loss team, we are supported by ServiceMaster Recover/Management Services, in the form of project management and equipment enabling us to easily handle large commercial or industrial losses.
Production staff is IICRC Certified in water and smoke damage.
Background checks are conducted on all employees.
Continuing Education Credit classes are provided, as well as on going training.
